Still Waiting is the second studio album from the North London based band, Sound of the Suburb and you can catch the band live at their official album launch on 21st Jan at The Dublin Castle in Camden Town, 94 Parkway, London NW1 7AN (£7/ 9pm).
The lead single No Tomorrow promises to build on the radio support gained for the band’s festive release which included Bishop FM, VRN 1287, Radio Woking, K107 FM Scotland, Oban FM, Salford Radio, Vixen 101 and many more.
The album features a varied mix of music, from guitar driven rockers and twangy rockabilly tunes, to more moody, pensive compositions. The first single to be taken from the album is “No Tomorrow”, though in fact each track is a winner. Their first self-titled CD, released in 2012, garnered much critical acclaim in the media… “…an eclectic mix working to near perfection” The Courier. “…reminding listeners of a time when the music, not hype or packaging, really was the thing” New York Press.
