Italian singer/songwriter, Giulia, celebrates the sparkling world of female pop this spring with the release of her vibrant and highly catchy single, ‘Addictable’ out on 15 April (available for pre-order from 18 March).   As 2016 marks 20 years since the iconic Spice Girls hit the charts with ‘Wannabe’,  Giulia releases ‘Addictable’ as a tip-of-the-hat to girl power and the emergence of the female pop revolution over the past two decades.

‘Addictable’ is taken from the new deluxe version of Giulia’s debut album, ‘Raze Me To The Ground’ out on May 20, which will include two new tracks: ‘X-Rated’ and ‘Addictable’.  Written by Giulia DonĂ  dalle Rose/Don Mescall, ‘Addictable’ is powerful, punchy and popped to the max, a fun track depicting the whirlwind hypnotic journey of a super-charged, crazy night on the town.  Paying homage to all female pop artists of the past decades, ‘Addictable’ delivers Giulia’s delicious deep rich vocals around a cascading melody of beats that are made for the feet – this song defies anyone to stay still.

The album, ‘Raze Me To The Ground’ was written and produced in London in collaboration with Don Mescall and demonstrates the incredible musical chemistry between Giulia and Mescall. Quintessential sounds of country/rock fused with a modern twist of pop, the masterful collection of album tracks are laced with superior song craft and compositions.  Lead tracks such as ‘Turn Your Light On’, ‘Radio Junky’,  ‘Road Trip’ and ‘Love, Love, Love’ begin to illustrate the exciting musical journey of this Italian songstress. Nashville writer/producer, Don Mescall, heard the album, instantly fell in love with Giulia’s sound and immediately offered to add his production wizardry – musical magic was born.

Giulia first caught UK attention when she supported Anastasia at the O2, with the global spotlight flicking on when her track ‘Turn You Light On’ was used as the anthem for World Earth Day 2015.  A creative entrepreneur, Giulia also owns her own couture fashion line, Anna Sammorone, which boasts celebrity fans in the shape of the actress Blake Lively and Italian Fashionista Chiara Ferragani..  With so many eyes on the inspiringly talented Giulia, 2016 is set to be an even bigger year for her than the last.

The single, ‘Addictable’ is released on 15 April through M:89 Records with pre-order available from 18 March.

Formed in 2013 in Edinburgh and with a couple of line-up changes since, 3DFR are being heard by more and more people. With a sound inspired by bands like Mogwai or Explosions in the Sky, their first self-titled EP (link below to bandcamp) takes its cues from their regular jam sessions and totally blew me away the first time I heard it. Which is why they are here.

The band are now working with Infinite Hive to expand their growing fan base and take things up a notch, expect more great music, gigs, content (bloody content) and all the usual "how to get heard" Internet shenanigans in the near future. We've found them more gigs around the country to compliment the ones they find for themselves and got their single out, with a video to match. These guys work hard and play hard.

Their first release on Infinite Hive was the storming single "What Is Dead May Never Die" at the beginning of September 2015, to great acclaim by friends and fans alike on social media. Their follow-up EP "If We Keep Walking, Eventually We'll Fall Off" came out on 9th November 2015, links and artwork are at the top of the page and their releases with us are on Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon mp3, Google Play Music, and Spotify as well.

Did we mention that an independent Scottish production company will feature their music in a forthcoming film too? Watch this space...they will literally take your breath away.

Catch the band on the following live dates :

Friday March 18th 2016, Sneaky Pete's, Edinburgh
Sunday March 20th 2016, Nice 'n Sleazy, Glasgow
Friday April 22nd 2016, Banshee Labyrinth, Edinburgh
Tuesday May 10th 2016, Audio, Glasgow

From the moment International Recording Artiste RDX exploded on the scene with their chart topping single Dance in 2007, they haven’t
looked back, indeed the energetic musical brothers have grown to become one of the most recognizable faces in Dancehall/Reggae the
World over. Singer DelomarX (Andre Bedward) and Deejay Renigade (Carlton Williams) were childhood friends, but merged their musical
forces to become what is today the award winning… RDX.

Take the Group of the year award for two consecutive years (2007 & 2008), the international acclaim of the hit song Bend Over, four
more number 1 songs in Jamaica i.e. Daggering, Dance, Everybody Dance, Dancers Anthem, plus worldwide chartbusters including Skip
(Poland), Movements (Poland & Panama), Deliver Me (Guyana) and For The Girls (Trinidad).

Add to that the stunning performances around the globe including successful Tours of the USA, the Caribbean, Japan, Africa, Europe
and Central America, colorful personalities to match their hairs and a  professionalism and work ethic not often associated with the genre
and you get RDX.

With only little over four years of being in the spotlight, RDX have etched there name as one of the premiere standard bearers of
quality music emerging from Jamaica, and are widely regarded as one of the positive ambassadors of the popular Dancehall culture.
With the creative lyrical prowess of Renigade and the infectious melodies of DelomarX, coupled with thumping tracks and a forward
thinking support team, RDX are poised for even greater things.

And with the recent release of the smash hit Jump, that has captivated audiences globally, plus Summer Slap Weh & Broad Out,
the growth and diversity of RDX has become even more visible to the point that they duo is now being thought of, in credible circles, as
the next Dancehall/ Reggae Superstar.

The new single “Pull Up Selecta” features a remix package from The Freestylers and is set to fully launch 2016 in to the Year of Dancehall/Reggae!

RDX - “Pull Up Selecta” is released on Jamdown Entertainment

IMPACT DATE:  Feb/Mar 2016  TBC

SISTERAY have hit 2016 running. This new single from the London four piece, currently rewriting the indie guitar rule book, has already had one of it's tracks picked up by Phil Taggart on BBC Radio One and following series of #guerilla pop-up gigs around the capital they have now set up their own night Welcome To The Monkey House, the first one in Camden was a sell-out success, next one @ The Victoria Dalston on Feb 11th.
The single tracks were recorded on Lightship95 with producer Rory Attwell (Test-Icicles) at the helm.

Sisteray are fronted by songwriters Niall Rowan (vocals) and Dan Connelly (guitar). Originally the band formed out of school by Daniel and his brother but when the time for decisions  about the future arrived. Dan chose to stick with his guitar, song writing and rock and roll while his brother decided to leave and go to university. Sibling rivalry doesn't come into it, this is just the beginning of the story.

Dan recently found himself in national media/TV (BBC / ITV / Independent ) speaking out against his local MP in Walthamstow Stella Creasy, voting for airstrikes in Syria. He was described on screen as musician and activist, though he's not sure he would describe himself as an activist. For the record Dan and Stella have agreed to disagree.

Marigold Kingrey who is based in Toronto, Canada.

I've been sitting on this news for the past few months and finally it's all a-go, so I'm thrilled to now present you the new EP from THE VELDT, one of the key 1990s American shoegaze acts from the U.S., known for their delicious ability to blend in elements of soul and RnB into their compositions. As a follow up to his widely acclaimed album ‘Ziroq’ from 2001, the accomplished guitar virtuoso and songwriter Marcus Nand is back with his multifaceted album ‘Time And Tide Wait For No Man’.

Having played alongside the world’s greatest musicians and recorded a guitar solo for Rod Stewart’s latest album, Marcus Nand’s experience as a professional musician is certainly unmistakable. The eponymous single release from the album, ‘Time And Tide Wait For No Man’, has been described as “a definite step ahead in Nand's eclectic music career” and the album as going “through different aspects of life, in which many listeners may easily find themselves into” by online music website Blue Bird Reviews.

While focusing more on the introspective and reflective aspects of life with his first single release, other songs on the album include catchy and flamenco influenced tracks such as ‘Everything’.

With ‘Time And Tide Wait For No Man’, Nand is telling stories of life experiences that people can relate to. In his songs, Marcus is creating an atmosphere that allows the listeners to be transported into a lyrical picture. The themes of the album range from friendship to love and loss. Inspired by some of the most influential bands known to mankind, Marcus explains: “I kept on thinking about how diverse Queen or The Beatles were and not worrying about anything fitting in or not.”

Nand’s music is as varied as his heritage. The musician was born in Merseyside, grew up in Spain and has a Fiji-Indian father and English Mother really which has immensely contributed to shaping him as a person. His latest album is an all-embracing expression of his upbringing and open minded worldview: “Musically, it’s the first time I’ve actually incorporated all of my musical influences including, Rock, Flamenco, Pop, Arabic and Indian influences so that was a big factor when I was producing it.”

Marcus has established himself as a much respected artist having some of the world’s most successful musicians wanting to collaborate with him. Session musicians such as Carmine Rojas (David Bowie, Rod Stewart) or Tal Bergman (Joe Bonamassa) are regularly performing with Nand on stage and rumour has it that Paul Young is still listening to his first album ‘Ziroq’ on his phone.

The album ‘Time And Tide Wait For No Man’ is out on 22nd April 2016

Creative Side and Waterside will be the two tracks on the AA single and the launch gig is at the popular Dylans’s in Criccieth on Friday 11thMarch. The two tracks demonstrate SERA’s diversity and will appeal to those who love a warm, approachable sound and ear worm hooks. Baylen Leonard from Amazing Radio/BBC Radio 2 played her most recent single ‘Carry Me’ and said that he will be playing more if that track was anything to go by. So we imagine he will be as keen as we were to hear these newly recorded songs.

But Baylen wasn’t the only fan of the song, ‘Carry Me’. It has been on the BBC Radio Wales playlist all through December to early January 2016 and she was also their 'Artist of the Week.'

SERA is a bilingual singer/songwriter from the North Wales town of Caernarfon who has released a number of Welsh and English albums and EPs. Since moving from the piano as her main instrument to the guitar, SERA is developing a different sound, with her last couple of EPs walking the country/folk line. Look out for her new album in May 2016, which she recorded with producer Eddie Boogie, (Eddie Al-Shakarchi) that has a distinct Americana feel to it.

No stranger to success, SERA's songs have been played across the UK, and her song ‘Melody’ has also been used in numerous ad campaigns, in the SKY show 'Stella' and in the BAFTA Cymru winning independent film ‘Dancing in Circles. ’ SERA was also a finalist in the Song for Wales (Can i Gymru) TV show in both 2009 and 2015.

A popular solo festival act, SERA has played at Sidmouth Fringe, How the Light Gets, Focus Wales, Wakestock, Festival Number 6 and more.  SERA has toured in America, and also has a Masters Degree in Screenwriting and writes a music column in the North Wales Daily Post, as well as organises various music and arts events with CEG, a musicians’ collective.

This year catch SERA playing at the Scouservarious Gala concert in Liverpool in January, supporting Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman at Blue Sky in Bangor in April, playing a headline slot at Focus Wales in May, as well as a busy tour of festivals and gigs throughout the summer.

This is what SERA says about working with Folkstock and the songs she is releasing on the independent label.

“I really admire the passion and fresh approach to music by Helen and Folkstock. The music Folkstock releases is always authentic and full of heart. I'm thrilled that Helen can see those same qualities in my music also - something that has always been so important to me when making my music. I'm excited and honoured that two of my tracks from the forthcoming album will be released by Folkstock as a Double A side single release. The songs show two sides to my music and my album. Creative side being an up-beat, hooky Americana song on guitar, with the piano-led Waterside showing the more emotional and expressive tone also on the album. I believe Folkstock can help introduce my music to a wider audience, and it feels amazing to be a part of of the Folkstock community of artists.”

“Sera… the piano playing of Sara Bareilles crossed with Joni Mitchell’s songbird twang and guitar playing, with a pinch of the more animated and upbeat vocals of Amanda Palmer”.
Manchester Evening News

“The delicate arrangements and lush vocals on this heart-warming folk pop song are surely guaranteed to put a smile on your face”.
Tom Robinson, Fresh On The Net

”An absolute breath of fresh air…perfect and untouchable.”
Musicosis

“She demonstrates a controlled dignity in her presentation that is positively refreshing in these times of over the top Saturday nighttheatricality.”
4/5 Bluesbunny

“Together with the likes of Paper Aeroplanes, Ivan Moult and Al Lewis, Sera is another name that can be added to the current crop of Welsh talent.”
A Musical Priority

“…inventive musical arrangements that vary from upbeat folk-rock to piano-driven ballads and acoustic, rootsy songs…”

Benedict Trenches is a fictional character. When we perform, we are that character. Imagine Damien Rice's 'O', The Mars Volta's 'Frances The Mute', Heck and Bright Eyes in a sonic mixer. To put a genre on it, we’d go for the somewhat niche (but soon to be mainstream!) Psych-Prog-Acoustic-Fiction Rock.

We are an ambitious band, and have been gathering momentum since our beginnings early last year with upcoming E.P track ‘Take Some Time’ spun by Dean Jackson on the BBC Introducing East Midlands show (13/02/2016), lead single ‘Blank Slate’ playlisted on Croydon Radio, plays on Way Out Radio and a multitude of Podcasts in the pipeline, extremely positive local media coverage - http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/Characterful-performance/story-28626181-detail/whatson/story.html '..both complex and beautiful’, - and a live show going from strength to strength, having played Nottingham's Horse Fest, Beeston's Party in the Park as well as headline shows at the Vic and the famous Running Horse.

We are releasing a single off of our upcoming E.P on the 4th of March,
