Info

The Dollyrots released their first ever official live CD / DVD, Family Vacation last week. To help celebrate that fact they are releasing one of the tracks from Family Vacation, Get Weird, as a single. As live recordings go the quality is as good as they come, and perfectly captures the fun and energy of a Dollyrots performance without the clarity of the track suffering.

London based singer-songwriter KYKO is set to release his first single of 2016, ‘Native’ through LAB Records (Youth Club, Fort Hope). It’s Indie-Pop at its finest with delicious guitar riffs and a hook that will stay with you for days. ‘Native’ is everything you’d expect from the talented 19 year old who continues to get better and better with every release.

Having impressed with his debut EP ‘Animals’, racking up over 2 million plays across all platforms, KYKO returned with the infectious single ‘Pull Me Up’ in late 2015. KYKO has received strong support from the likes of Radio X, BBC Radio 6 Music, Amazing Radio, and BBC Introducing, as well as huge online support from the likes of Clash, Indie Shuffle, TMRW Magazine, and Wonderland. ‘Pull Me Up’ resonated with fans across the world as it racked up a staggering 450K streams on Spotify in just 2 months. It also made Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ playlist and the ‘Top 10 Global Viral’ charts.

KYKO, otherwise known as Scott Verrill, was raised in South London and although young, has a talent that is far beyond his years. Fusing melodic guitar rhythms with soulful vocals, KYKO is creating his own unique and exciting brand of music.

Hotly tipped Croydon band BELLEVUE DAYS return with their 2nd single ‘PEPPER TEA’ taken from their forthcoming ‘RIPPED JEANS’ EP out April 22nd.

If you haven't heard of them already, Bellevue Days are receiving amazing accolades from around the world right now. The media support so far can be seen in the PR below, but it ranges from BEAT 1's Zane Lowe and Julie Adenuga to BBC Radio 1, Radio X and Kerrang! Radio.

They're currently on tour around the UK with Brighton's TIGERCUB and if you can make one of the dates (see below), I recommend you do!

London three-piece, First are set to release a new single on YSB Records on the 18th of March 2016.
‘Grim Reaper’, the follow up to the recent ‘Intended Repercussions’ single, will be available digitally and comes accompanied by a stunning new video. Self -recorded last year in a disused police station in Deptford, the new track hints at what to expect from the band’s second album ‘Shriek’ which is released in April.

The new album is the follow up to their 2013 debut ‘Hermes Has Left The Building’ and features fourteen brand new tracks that are without doubt the band’s most accomplished and strongest set of songs to date.
Formed nearly four years ago, First are led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Ben Fox Smith, former frontman of teen cult rockers Stony Sleep (Big Cat Records) and most recently Serafin. Tom Moody (bass) and The Display Team’s Jim Devese (drums) make up the rest of the line up and the trio have been playing in and around London over the last few years to ever expanding and eager audiences.
Taking inspiration from the likes of The Pixies and Pavement, they released their debut album ‘Hermes Has Left The Building’ which featured the singles ‘Champagne With Sean Penn’, ‘Kate And I’ and ‘Unconsciousness/ Happiness’.
First have announced a live show at The Unicorn in Camden on the 17th of March, which is then followed by a special album launch show at The Birds Nest in Deptford on the 1st of April. They will announce further UK dates in the very near future to coincide with the release of the new album.
