Love Street

‘Moving On’ single

Release date: 1st August, 2014

Love Street are a prime example of the exciting, modern folk sound. Based in Cornwall, they encapsulate the energy and fun of bands like Bellowhead with a twist of classic rock. They are a powerhouse of the folk music scene.

Not only named after the iconic Doors track:

Love Street
is dedicated to lead singer Jules Clark’s late brother Greg Clark, who grew up on the street with the same name in Sheffield. Due to his early passing, Jules was not able to play in a band with his brother, but now with other musicians by his side, he carries the flag for Greg.

Drawing influence from English, Welsh, and Cornish folklore, as well as having a taste for bands like Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull,

Love Street
is an intriguing blend of popular genres. The band are all multi instrumentalists; incorporating the hammond, banjos, and other weird and wonderful instruments into their music.

The band’s debut album, “Both Sides of the Door”, was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studios, and was post produced by award winning George Shilling (Steve Winwood, Bernard Butler, Ocean Colour Scene). “

Love Street
” is the new double A-side single featuring the track ‘Moving On’.

The band have recently performed at major events including Elfia Holland, Boomtown Fair & Sunrise, as well as dates booked at numerous festivals this Summer.
